Section 1: Identification Product (Trade) Name: COMO Filter Elements General Physical Description: Creped Cellulose Wadding Depth-Type Filter Section 2: Ingredients Hazardous Ingredients: None Section 3: Physical Data Spirally wound creped cellulose wadding. Size: (length, diameter) vary with element. Appearance: 3000 series elements are contained in painted metal cans; 100, 150, 250, 400, 500, 750, 1000 and 1200 series elements are contained in a cotton sock, white or cream in appearance. Odor: None Section 4: Fire and Explosion Hazard Data Combustion Point: Before use - 450 F, in use - same as fluid. Extinguishing Media: Before use - water, after use - dry chemical or foam. Section 5: Reactivity Data Product is totally inert when shipped from factory. Section 6: Spill or leak Procedures Handling Precautions: See Section 8 Section 7: Health Hazard Data Product presents no health hazards when shipped from factory. For health hazard data in use: See Section 8 Section 8: Special Precautions Handling and Storing: Keep away from excessive heat or open flame: treat as flammable material.
In Use:	- 3000 series elements do not exceed 70 PSI - Drop-In Elements: housing pressure should not exceed 70 PSI - Relieve pressure in housing when changing elements, before opening - Wear gloves and protective clothing when removing element to protect against hot oil contacting skin. - Use proper disposal methods for elements after use. Whatever fluid the element is saturated or contaminated with will determine appropriate disposal measures. The end user is responsible for determining what disposal measure is appropriate based on how the element was used.
